Visit Jungfraujoch

Also known as the “Top of Europe” the summit has sensational views of the Aletsch Glacier. The journey takes about two hours and 15 minutes. It’s best to leave from Interlaken East. Remember to pack sturdy shoes and warm clothing.

The Bernese Oberland region is a skiers paradise suited for all kinds of winter sports fans. For powder lovers, Adelboden is a great option and connects Lenk with a ski area of 205km of well-groomed pistes.

Explore the Waterfalls
You could easily fill up all your trekking time exploring the waterfalls in the region. A good waterfall to start with is Staubbach Falls in Lauterbrunnen. It’s Europe’s highest free-falling waterfall and is easy to get to. You can also get closer to the water by walking behind the waterfall.

Go Mountain Biking
The Bernese Oberland region has a great selection of mountain biking. Lauterbrunnen is the perfect destination for biking enthusiasts. Although you can find something for all skill levels, much of the terrain is on the steep side so make sure to do your research and plan accordingly.
There are just over 300 mountain bike trails to discover in the region to get your blood pumping. One of the top trails involves a loop from Kleine Scheidegg to Staubbachfall and takes around five and a half hours.

Along the shores of Lake Thun, you can find the botanical gardens of Schadau Park. Feed the ducks along the shoreline or take a stroll through the woods and across the meadows.
